Bloopers 2008: Impact of Mumbai Attack over Cricket
As terror has already demolished the cricket in Pakistan, even Sri Lanka also faced some problems but no one have ever imagine that in India “The most popular game” can be a victim of terror as it was seen on last year, when the English team left its one day series in the wake of Mumbai Attack. In the last it was agreed to play the remaining matches of two test series but it was sidelined. BCCI itself suffered a loss as its scheduled T-20 leauge was cancelled. As a total was cost him about 120 Millions rupees.
But for these terror attaks, to which no one can be responsible but for Cricket and people who are in touch with this game direct or indirect ( All of us included) have learned a lesson that we are all united against terrorism.
These were most of the top bloopers for 2008 which i have posted with in the last week but besides these a lot of other harsh news were also there which makes the taste of Cricket pungent. A brief list of several of these news are below:
- Kaushal Lokruchi from Sri Lanka who have played around 21 one day international matches was barred for four years and fined five Lakhs being found guilty for murdering a woman.
- Carebian Cricketer Marlon Samuals was found guilty for Match fixing and banned for two years from internation criclet.
- Harshal Gibs from South Africa was arrested for drunk driving.
- During IPL a lot of issues arise for their dance and their explicit behavior.
- Andrew Symonds was sent back from the Bangladesh tour when he gone to catch fish during the exercise session.
